A closing prayer is an essential part of any church gathering. However, finding the right words may prove difficult, as there is a responsibility to wrap up the study time with a prayer or two in thanksgiving and supplication to God and disperse the people with faith and hope.

Great God, thank You for the end of this Bible study session. We thank You for this online Bible study group. Distance has not been a barrier for us to gather to study and learn from Your holy word.

Thank You for being present in this meeting to teach us. We pray that everyone who connected to this study today will be blessed. Let the word that we have heard today bring forth good fruit in each life here. This, we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Faithful Father, we thank You for this great opportunity to come and study Your word. We ask that we will have a deeper understanding of what You have shown us out of Your word today so as to apply it in our daily lives.

Dear heavenly father, You are our help and source. We thank You for this gathering to study Your word. We express our gratitude as we finish this meeting with the full confidence that You are with us. Help us to walk in Your way boldly.

We pray also for all those who joined us for the first time today that they will grow in Your word. Let our lives reflect Christ Jesus everywhere we find ourselves to Your glory and to the shame of the enemy.

Precious Redeemer, we acknowledge Your presence with us in this gathering today. We thank You for Your mighty hand upon our Bible study group. Thank You for the mysteries You showed us out of the Old Testament. Bring to our remembrance all we have been taught today.

Everlasting God, King of Glory, Creator of the universe and all that is in it. You are glorious and faithful. We thank You for being our Rock. Thank You for bringing us to the end of our time in this Bible study class for today.

Dear Heavenly Father, may Your presence go before and after us as we go to our various destinations. May we find good things on our way. May the angels of the Lord shield us from evil. May all our protection prayers receive speedy answers. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I commit my ways unto Your safe hands, oh Lord. I ask that You help me obey every word I have heard in today’s Bible study meeting. May Your Word cause my life to bear good fruit.
