Prayer for someone in the hospital

Deuteronomy 7:15

Dear Father, your Word states that you will keep my sick friend free from any and every disease. Your power has the strength to remove the current sickness that has hospitalized them.

I ask that when I send a get-well card to my loved ones, they receive it filled with the grace of God. The kind words I speak over them are the exact words that I declare to you for them.

I need your healing hand to heal them from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet. You will bless them with perfect health and a good outcome to come out of this stronger than before. Amen.

Hebrews 4:16

God answers prayers when you bring your tough times to him. You are a gracious God who touches those that cry out to you. I lift this sick person that is dear to my heart. I ask that you touch and heal him/her in a way that no doctor has found able to do.

It is difficult to sit in a hospital bed, hopeless and defeated. You are the great healer, almighty God. I speak of perfect health over their life and for the hard times to be drowned out by the person praying for them in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Luke 9:1

Dear God, I seek out the right words from you over my family member. You give your power and authority to your children to cure any illness and wickedness. Your mighty power allows me to heal my loved ones by lifting them to you. God is calling you to say the following prayer over your family member.

I declare in your name that physical healing will take place. The person praying holds the power of prayer, which proves to heal, cure and uplift all. I bestow good news upon them directly from your mouth. A full recovery is the best way for them to hear your voice. Amen.

Jeremiah 30:17

Lord Jesus Christ, you are my healer and waymaker. You have continued to heal the sick and mend the broken. I place my complete faith in you to restore a speedy recovery over my dear friend.

The healing power is in the holy spirit that fills each ill-health room. The loving Father is working for perfect health to be seen in a time of recovery.

I ask that you give the essential workers on duty the knowledge and guidance to work on my sick friend. Place your healing hand over each to do your work in that hospital room. I pray for only good things to occur in that room filled with your presence in Jesus’ name. Amen

Psalm 34:19

Dear Lord, only you know how severe this sickness is that lies with my sick friend. They are in a time of need of your comfort and peace. I ask that you give me the right words to bring them the stillness they are looking for right now.

You have the life-giving power to heal and cure any disease. I pray for spiritual healing and that this person’s spirit remains intact while they battle this disease. Let them feel your power and how much stronger they are alongside you.

Although they are facing a tough time, I ask your assurance to tell my dear friend life that you are the healer. You are the best medicine when nothing else seems to be working. Amen.

Prayer for someone going through a hard time

Psalm 55:2

Father God, you know the difficult times my dear friend is facing. The sadness and loneliness they feel during this challenging time are often indescribable.

My best friend needs God’s grace more than ever. I’m clinging to the loving Father who not only hears but answers prayers. Although hard times are inevitable, the storm is less severe when God’s soldiers fight in the power of prayer.

I declare a new day to overcome the storm they are facing. My daily prayers can only scratch the surface of what my dear Heavenly Father can do. Peace of God is with my dear friend to ease the chaos and frustration in their life. Amen.

Hebrews 13:5

Dear Father, you stand firm on your promise of never leaving or forsaking me. I know this stands to be true for my good friends. It is a difficult season, and even when they cannot seem to feel you. I know that you are still near.

Lord Jesus, you are the perfect thing needed for the everyday life of troubles. In times of need, you show up gracefully with love and support. You are the only constant in the ever-changing world.

May God take good care of my dear friends who desperately need his presence to show up. In the name of Jesus, I proclaim that my loved ones are filled with the joy and peace that only you can bring. Amen

Psalm 118:14

It is a prayer request for that family member who needs strength and assurance that someone is working on their behalf. Hard times leave them feeling lost and alone. God’s love can handle this void that has become unbearable to battle alone.

The good Lord will show up for you when you believe you are without your whole family. He continues to show up and take good care of you in all circumstances.

You are influential in the Lord God and can face all obstacles through him. His mighty power fills you up with the strength that you have to seek out. Amen.

1 Peter 5:7

Dear Father, my best friend is struggling right now through a hard time that only you know the details about in depth. I cry out to you for them to lift this heavy burden.

The short prayers they have spoken to you may not be the right words they hope to reach you. However, you know the desire and intent of their heart. You know the terms that they wish to speak.

The battle of emotional healing is just as severe as physical healing. Only by the will of God will they find true peace in this season. In the name of Jesus, I speak of healing and the weight lifted off of them. Amen.

Psalm 32:7

O Lord, my friends, I need you now in a time of confusion and despair. In times of need, emotions run high of misinterpreting what you desire for us. You continuously ask your children to draw near. You are their protector in all things.

Christ Jesus is your peace of protection from the world. When wrapped in God’s love, you are untouchable in your current hard times. When you need a break from the constant hurt and pain, the almighty God waits for you with arms wide open.

It is a healing process when recovering from abuse or separation. I ask that you lay your healing hand on my friend to recover from unspoken things I may never know. In Jesus’ name, work in their life and show them loudly. Amen

Prayer for healing and strength

2 Timothy 4:18

My gracious God continues to save me from every evil attack. You are always there in my times of need. I lift my arms to you for your strength when I feel an episode. No battle can overcome my spirit.

I will remind myself of the good times that are around the corner for me. You never fail to rescue me from the darkness that attempts to cast over me. You are my life-giving power; never lose hope.

In my everyday life, I trust you, Lord Jesus. You are my savior. The new day I long for awaits me for this storm to pass. In Jesus’ name, will you cover me in your Holy Spirit during this challenging time? Amen.

Psalm 107:19-20

Father God, I cry out to you for the dear friend that needs healing. I cannot seem to speak the right words, whether it be emotional healing or spiritual healing. You are the loving Father that knows their thoughts and heart.

The inspirational quotes that I send can only reach them so far. They need courage in difficult times to bring them out of this and into your arms. They are wonderful friends who deserve this weight to be lifted off them.

Lord Jesus, you have the mighty power to heal and restore what I cannot see. You take good care of the broken. I ask that your miraculous healing does work in them and that they feel the Holy Spirit during your movements. Amen.

Acts 4:30

The life of my friends and their well-being are close to my heart. In the best way that I know how to help, I come to you, Father God. I have read many bible stories of servants healing others through you. Powerful prayers are the healing hand that I place on my dear friends.

My greatest desire is to heal others through the power of your Word. The Will of God is in every Word I read and speak out. I ask that you give me the right words to reach the healing you have impacted so many.

It is a prayer request that I have taken on to heal my friends that may not have even asked. I see them hurting and battling many things. I speak about better health over their lives and the healing process to begin. It is a difficult decision to surrender their life to you and allow you complete control. Let the Holy Spirit take hold over what they struggle to lay at your feet. Amen.

Philippians 4:12-13

Social media today has created a false reality of the highlights in others’ lives. It is a battle for my family members to remain content with the consumption of wanting what others seem to have.

Even when they seem to have it all, they struggle in areas lacking.

It’s hard to correct what we cannot see when consumed in the following prayer of what we want from God. It may take the whole family to take a step back and truly admire their everyday life. It is a struggle that is not discussed, yet I feel a pull on it for my whole family.

Lord Jesus, this will take a full recovery of your guidance to remove the game of comparison. My loved ones have difficulty finding the content in their blessings when searching for more. Your strength is needed for discipline, appreciation, and daily prayers. Amen

3 John 1:2

May God grant my dear friend good health and spiritual healing. I speak good things about their life and that the new days are filled with God’s peace. Their greatest desire is for perfect health and longevity of a peaceful spirit.

Good Lord, healing is a continuous cycle of seeking out the loving Father. Use the Holy Spirit today to take hold of their lives and heal the places they have closed off from you. Please give me the right words to push my dear friend into your arms.

My true friend is a blind man walking without your guidance and healing hand on them. It is perfect for you to lift their spirit to take control over the areas they are weak in currently. They need you, Lord God. Emotional healing can only happen by you pushing them to release the things they have built up. In Jesus’ name, open their mind and heart to begin working on them. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, even when I can’t speak the right words, you hear the cry of my heart for my family members and dear friends. By my powerful prayers, I can place a healing hand to do your work alongside you. I declare perfect health, emotional and physical healing over all hurting.
