What has God given us victory over?

You have received the ultimate victory of a seat in Heaven by his right hand. You have the privilege of having a roaring lion in your corner fighting every battle and sin that comes your way.

” For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.” Deuteronomy 20:4 NIV

Moses is speaking to His people and the assurance of things when entering a situation with your enemies. Conflict arises amongst many when adversity is at the center. It takes good courage to walk into a room filled with people who desire ill will towards you.

The glory of the Father stands beside you in every battle.

There is power in his name alone to bring forth great victory over your life.

Exodus 14:14 is God’s Word saying that He will fight for you. He is in your corner with His mighty power, ready to take on anything that is coming to destroy you.

Any evil day and anyone behind it does not have the power of God to overturn a situation into great glory. God overcomes all wrongs and is the right person beside you as a roaring lion ready for war.

” But you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame.” Psalm 44:7 NIV

The holy arm of Christ has defeated all your enemies. It is a powerful bible verse for all Christ followers since enemies come with following Christ Jesus. Judgment and hatred for His people come from outsiders who taunt His name.

As frustrating as this may be, the Lord God says He will put your conflicts and enemies to shame.

Numbers 6:24-26 says that the Lord’s face shines on you and His favor is upon you.

The peace of God is handed to those who are a child of God. Your conflicts should not distress you from the focus of the love of God. It increases your faith to have a God who goes to war behind you.

John explains that loving others is first nature when being born again. The devil schemes on you, getting caught up in evil in the world and dragging on a situation to distract you from the shield of faith.

When becoming born again, you are renewed in spirit by Christ. Your heart is on fire for God to serve others with his steadfast love. The glory of the Father is one worth exalting and spreading onto others to share.

Romans 12:21 is a powerful bible verse saying not to allow evil to overcome your life, but for you to overcome evil with good. The power of God can switch a terrible season into a life lesson.

When feeling overwhelmed by the darkness attacking your life, you become hostile, bitter, and even depressed at moments. The Lord God intends for you to do good deeds with a smile on your face.

Loving others during their wicked ways to you is putting on the belt of truth. Your self-worth is not what the enemy has repeatedly told you; it is in the love of God. This truth allows you to see others through the lens of God, and those causing corruption are in pain themselves.

The enemy’s power has no control over you when using the belt of truth to defend yourself.

” With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.” Psalm 108:13 NIV

David is declaring that the mighty power of the Lord Jesus Christ will win the people victory over their enemies. You cannot do the overcoming of an enemy without Christ.

The Lord Almighty gains victory over your life every single time. The authority of His Christ is above all, even those that seem intimidating to fight back against at large.

1 John 5:4 that when you are born again through God, you have overcome the world.

Your faith in God is the way to escape any fear or threat you believe others have over you. You are born again to rest in knowing the word of truth is a weapon you can instantly bring your enemies to their knees.

You can use the shield of faith to protect yourself with God’s Word. You cannot win battles without God on your side, for the reason being that he holds the crown of life.

Scriptures on overcoming through the blood of Jesus

” But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7 NIV

John’s letter explains to Christ’s followers that Jesus is the light. He is the path you can follow into His holy nation. Marvelous things come from the friendships formed with other Christ followers.

The Son of God has helped you develop a community around the holy spirit that only His people can feel.

Romans 7:25 states that everyone is a slave to sin, making them a slave to the law of God. Failure over your life is one way the devil will attempt to suck you into slavery over your sins. In His direction, you are delivered when surrendering yourself to Christ Jesus.

Amidst your sinful ways, the resurrection of Jesus diminished any eternal suffering for your sins. The Lord Jesus Christ paid the price so that you could be forgiven and spend eternity with Him. It brings good cheer to know when following the God Almighty, you are forgiven and saved from the power of sin.

” This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Matthew 26:28 NIV

The house of Israel is celebrating God rescuing them through the blood of the lamb. Jesus begins to create the Passover Meal with the break of bread and a cup of wine for his covenant.

He is forming a unity in the promises of God for His people. They are to remember this treaty remains sealed.

The same promise God made to Israel’s people will now be for everyone who gives their life to Christ Jesus. Jesus’ blood will be poured out on the cross when sacrificing his life for the sinners who trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 22:19 is now known as communion, remembrance of Christ’s price for all sins. It is for Christ believers to recall what the son of God did to ensure that the light shines in Heaven for you.

” But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:13 ESV

Paul is talking to the Gentiles who are far from God’s reach. In previous verses, Paul points out that the Gentiles are near God not from their own doing but from the Lord Jesus Christ.

When Christ Jesus wants you near, he shows you His presence by your answered prayers, a shift in your hope, and small gifts of His glory.

Hebrews 9:14 talks about God cleansing His believers from acts such as sin leading to death. Christ’s blood has no evil or imperfections, making it so pure and perfect to remove any evil things from within you to draw you closer to the Lord God Almighty.

He is a Savior in laying down His own life to save yours from any harm or eternal suffering. Drawing near to God, you will experience the blood of Christ in His perfect presence that cleanses you from the inside out.

Bible verses on victory over death

” And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:3 NIV

Jesus is reassuring his disciples that God will not separate them forever. He promises that he will be coming back for them to take them into the kingdom of our God. It takes good courage to enter any place alone.

The fear of the unknown begins to creep into your mind. The light shines on what is to come from death which is your predestination, a place of paradise with a spot saved for you.

John 17:24 is the dear children under God asking others to see where he has brought them to stay. When receiving great news, you call your loved ones to share this experience that brings love and joy.

The same is for the Kingdom of our God; you want family members to partake in the holy spirit, wrapping their arms around you. Death is now seen from a pure heart, knowing a place is awaiting your arrival filled with nothing less than glory, love, and praise.

” But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57 NIV

Paul flips the script from death revealed by sin and how everyone disobeys God’s commandments. He begins to rejoice over sin and death not being the end for Christ believers. The victory is the resurrection of Jesus, giving us a way to be with Him and the Lord God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 is God taking up his children’s sin so that in Him you can become the righteousness of God. The Lord Almighty continues to make a way when the standard is for not being a way out of sin.

God’s power has saved so many from the power of sin, leading to the sting of death. You are no longer a slave to sin once arriving to be with the O Lord of great honor. The ultimate victory is the kingdom of Heaven, a destination that even your imagination cannot put together such great glory and awestruck.

” But our citizenship is in Heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.” Philippians 3:20-21 NIV

Paul goes on to explain that the earth is not your home. The Kingdom of God is where your permanent residence awaits you. Your focus is to be on Christ Jesus and the day of his return.

The devil schemes the world’s ways to become desirable in your eyes. You fall into the trap of living and enjoying the ways of the world that you forget the overcoming of an enemy is happening right before you.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 is God’s promise to come back down for His little children who have continued His good work. A loud voice is speaking over you to continue serving and guiding others to Christ Jesus.

Giving up is not an option when following the Lord Jesus Christ. When you work for the Lord, you can view the Father’s glory. Death is a sorrowful time to know that your time with loved ones is ending.

However, the Lord Almighty has promised his great nation that he will take them to a place only He can grant access to enter. In your Father’s house, God’s victory continues to overrule any enemy trying to steal His spot with you.

The weapons of our warfare can defeat the spiritual forces of evil. The enemy’s power has no chance when suited up with the whole armor of God. The day holds significant victory when having the Lord almighty in your corner.
